In Jakob Nielsen's latest Alertbox he admits that users do know how to operate a scroll bar so you can now design sites that are longer than a single Industry Standard Screenful. Makes you wonder how anybody ever read anything online without knowing how to scroll a window. Cynicism aside, he points out his top ten mistakes are still perfectly valid two years on which makes very depressing reading.
