An Email device could be a real killer and, according to this article, SBC are planning one. The device will feature a keyboard and flip up screen and connects to any phone. Pressing the send button dials an ISP and sends the email. The price is likely to be $180 plus $10 per month. What I don't understand is why would anyone pay a subscription for it when the trend is towards free ISPs? Also email alone is of limited use without connectivity to a PC for saving attachments. No mention is made of internal storage so I guess you can't store a copy of the emails you send or recieve.
