The Register are reporting that Sony has licensed the Palm OS for use in their networked vision for the future. Sony and Palm will work together to enhance the PalmOS with the modifications being made available to other Palm licensees. This probably means integration of Sony technologies such as Memory Stick and possibly the appearance of the Palm OS in Sony's new networkable home devices.
