This FBI report puts the spotlight on strong encryption from the law enforcement side. It discusses how encryption can hamper criminal investigations and puts the case across for tighter controls. It seems to miss the point that it's too late to control teh use of encryption software - it's out there and it will be used by whoever needs to. There's no point in restricting it's use, the criminals already have it and they'll use no matter what anyone says.
