XMLNews is a new news format based on the XML based News Industry Text Format (NITF). First glances suggest it's not for the casual news producer, Netscape's RSS is a much better format for that. Despite that, it has to be welcomed - anything that lets us automate collation of news and stories instead of screen scraping has to be a good thing. Strangely, Corel have announced that they'll be supporting it in WordPerfect.
