Wired is reporting the rumour I mentioned last week about Hkon Wium Lie joining Opera Software as their new CTO. This points clearly that Opera see conformance to standards, escpecially style sheets, as a major USP for their browser. On a side note, now that he's free to speak outside of W3C he's written a couple of articles, one of which slates the Formatting Objects part of the proposed XSL spec as being a big step in the wrong direction.
