I implemented Amberfell’s first mob: a wolf. You’ll need to squint a bit and imagine a wonderful ambling timber wolf texture instead of the grey block. This wolf has very basic behaviour: it rotates a random angle left or right and creeps forward at a small random speed. You can see the collision detection working with the scenery blocks but not with the player. Not bad for an hour’s work after watching Cabin in the Woods this evening. I want to implement pack behaviour and player detection so wolves will congregate and hunt together.
