I forgot my del.icio.us password so I went to the reset password function. It showed me the email address that I had used to sign up to del.icio.us with and an option to change that address. I changed it to something else without needing to enter a password or anything. I got confirmation of the change sent to both addresses. Then, I went back to the reset password page and clicked the link for del.icio.us to send me a password reset link. It happily sent it to the new email address that I’d entered.
So what’s to stop anyone from going to del.icio.us, changing the email address to my account and then getting access to change my password? WTF? Tell me what I’m missing here?

I just put this notice up on Planet Web 2.0:
I set up Planet Web 2.0 back in 2005 as a way for me to keep track of key influencers of the Web 2.0 movement. I made it public so that others could also benefit from it. Three years later I think that Web 2.0 is firmly a part of the web experience and the need to track the early proponents of its ideas has passed. So, it’s time to close this site and turn my attention to other emerging areas.

I just updated vocab.org with a series of new vocabularies, all of which were created at the highly successful and fun VoCamp organised by Tom. The new vocabularies are:
All of these are very new and need some spit, polish and shine. A good place to discuss and collaborate on them is the RDF Schema Dev mailing list. Alternatively join the VoCamp community and come along to a future camp. It looks like Galway is going to be next, with perhaps Vienna, London and Washington DC in the pipeline!
Update: fixed the links to the vocabuaries so they actually point to vocab.org! D’oh!
