I just got some spam for an address at a domain I registered last week which set me thinking: when you buy a domain that's been registered before you're signing up for all the spam that the previous owner used to get! In fact I recently surrendered a domain that I've had for years just so I could lose all the spam attached to it! I pity the next owner...
