Whither Google and Yahoo? Some interesting speculation by Tara Calishain on the likely outcome of the Yahoo/Google deal which is up for review this year. Tara's well-thought out conclusion is that the Google will be cut loose and that Yahoo will buy a search related property such as Ask Jeeves or even Alta Vista. Makes sense but I have doubts about how much Yahoo values search these days.
