Mozilla Java Enabled

MozillaZine are reporting on the new Java support in Mozilla. The new open JVM plug-in API means that Mozilla can use just about any JVM. It can use your default installation of Java which means an end to the current crazy situation of having a different VM in every browser. Under the new model upgrading your VM means that Mozilla is automatically upgraded. Does this pave the way to there actually being a case for preinstalling Java on pcs?
