Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines

The W3C have issued a new working draft of their Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines for comment and review. This document attempts to provide guidelines for authors of web design software to ensure that the content produced by the applications meet accessibility requirements. One of the key areas is informing the user of the software of potential accessibility issues when saving the page. That alone is enough to get people thinking about accessibility which has to be a good thing.
