Waldemar Horwat has posted his latest draft of the JavaScript 2.0 proposal. There are loads of new features planned including classes and packages, stronger typing, a new streaming execution model and generally tightening up on syntax and grammar. There are a number of areas that will require changes to existing 1.x scripts but Waldemar is confident that tools can be created to automate the process.
